Automatic Publication Updates

The Automatic Publication Update service will keep publications up to date by periodically comparing the current publication version to the one stored at the Sync File Location.

Enable or Disable the Automatic Publication Update Service

1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
2. Click on the Administration link on the top menu.
3. Select the drop-down option for Active and change from FALSE to TRUE.
4. Click Save button at the bottom when complete.

Interval (Seconds)

The Interval is the number of seconds that needs to elapse before the operation is run again.
The default value is 300 seconds resulting in a run time of every 5 minutes.

Last Run

You can view the last date/time that the service ran with this output field.

Helpful Information

• Enable or Disable an individual Publication Sync abilities by changing Sync = TRUE on the publication options.

LDAP Automatic User Disable

The LDAP Automatic User Disable Service will poll an Active Directory LDAP server for users which have been disabled. It will then disable those same users in DynamicRelay.

Enable or Disable the Automatic User Disable Service

LDAP Automatic User Import

The LDAP Automatic User Import Service will poll an Active Directory LDAP server for new users which have not yet been imported into DynamicRelay.

Enable or Disable the Automatic User Disable Service

1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
2. Click on the Administration link on the top menu.
3. Select the drop-down option for Active and change from FALSE to TRUE.
4. Click Save button at the bottom when complete.

Methods

Use this option to determine if you want to poll an Active Directory Group or Organizational Unit.

DR Role

Use this option to determine which DynamicRelay role you want to assign to any new users found using the above method.

Org Unit/Group

Use this option to define the name of the Active Directory Group or Organizational Unit Structure Address of where the users are located.

Set Pass

User this option to set the user's initial password for logging into DynamicRelay.

DR Group(s)

Use this option to select which DynamicRelay groups you want the user to be assigned to upon import.

Helpful Information

• You must have valid LDAP information entered into the rest of the Administration Page.
• You can add multiple import lines - so you could be importing some users by group and and some by OU: and applying different initial settings to both groups simultaneously.
