Create New Alert

An Alert is a way to send HTML formatted text to mobile users.

  1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
  2. Navigate to the Alert link at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the Add Alert button.
  4. Type in the Name for the new Alert in the box provided.
  5. Click on the Save button.

Edit Alert

Enable or Disable Alert

  1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
  2. Navigate to the Alert link at the top of the page.
  3. Locate the Alert Name you wish to change in the list of Alerts provided.
  4. Click on the Status Check-Box on the right-hand side of the row.

Edit Alert Name

  1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
  2. Navigate to the Alert link at the top of the page.
  3. Locate the Alert Name you wish to change in the list of Alerts provided.
  4. Click on the Edit icon button on the right-hand side of the row.
  5. Type in a new Name for the Alert.
  6. Click on the Save button.

Delete Alert

  1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
  2. Navigate to the Alert link at the top of the page.
  3. Locate the Alert Name you wish to delete in the list provided.
  4. Click on the Delete icon button on the right-hand side of the row.
  5. A notification box will be displayed asking if you are sure you want to make this change.
  6. Click on the OK button.

Helpful Information

This will delete all versions of the Alert and cannot be un-done.

Require Alert Acknowledgment

An Alert which has been marked as required will trigger "Fail" results on Compliance Check if alert has not been opened by user.

  1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
  2. Navigate to the Alert link at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the relevant Row of the Alert you wish to modify.
  4. Click on the Require Ack Check-Box.
  5. Click on the Save button.

Add HTML text to Alert

Add HTML formatted text to make a properly formatted message to mobile users.

  1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
  2. Navigate to the Alert link at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the relevant Row of the Alert you wish to modify.
  4. Enter the HTML text into the available Alert HTML box.
  5. Click on the Save button.

Bold Text

Bold Text can be achieved by adding tags to your text. Example <b>bold text here</b>

Underline Text

Underline Text can be achieved by adding tags to your text. Example: <u>underline text here</u>

Italicized Text

Italic Text can be achieved by adding tags to your text. Example: <i>underline text here</i>

Paragraphs

Paragraph Breaks can be achieved by adding

tags to your text. Example: <p>this is the first line</p><p>this is the second line</p>

Helpful Information

Multiple formatting can be combined on the same text string. Example: <b><u>This text is Bold and Underlined</u></b>

Assign Alert to Group

  1. Log into the WebUI through your DynamicRelay instance.
  2. Navigate to the Alert link at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the relevant Row of the Alert you wish to modify.
  4. The Available Groups section contains a list of groups which are available for assignment to this Alert.
  5. Select the Group name by clicking on it in the left-hand Available Groups box.
  6. Click on the > button to add the selected Group for this Alert.
  7. Click on the < button to remove the selected Group from this Alert.
  8. Click on the Save button when yours changes are complete.

Helpful Information

Saving any changes to an Alert will automatically increase the current version number by 1.
